The 3rd traditional multicultural and multiethnic event “Kebab – bazaar’s pearl of coexistence” organised by Macedonian – Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia and Esnaf Association will be held Saturday at Skopje Old Bazaar.
Organisers said that event aims at promotion of Old Bazaar and cultural and multi-ethnic coexistence through taste of kebab that blends the East and the West.
Economy Minister Driton Kuqi and mayor Cair municipality Izet Mexhiti are to open the event which will be attended by mayors and businessmen from Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia and diplomatic corps in Skopje.
Moreover, forum and debate on bazaars as economic, tourist, cultural centres that connects the region will be held.
The event will also feature performance of the musical duo “Skupi” (Starova-Mehmeti), an exhibition of academic painter Reshad Ameti and creations of fashion stylist Curi.
Also mayors of the region (Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Bulgaria) are to hold a meeting.
